Novacane is an American songwriter, actress and recording artist, hailing from Charlottesville, Virginia. She refers to her music as "controlled chaos". Novacane's approach to music is quite innovative as it is a free form of expression belonging to no particular genre, spanning the sounds of r&b, rhythmic pop and hip-hop genres with an alternative flare. Novacane specializes in composing passion felt tunes and explosive lyrics.

Novacane 's rhythmic pop flare is influenced by greats like Beyoncé, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Camilla Cabello, Ava Max and more. Novacane has worked with 3 time Grammy Award winning artist and songwriter Derrick Milano and Reggie Thompson, a veteran producer who partook in the production of  Mtume’s “Juicy Fruit”.

 

 Formerly a member of Writing Sessions America, Novacane has gained the privilege of working with 25+ years A&R veteran, Kevin Shine, a mogul in the music industry who’s worked alongside greats like “Sounds of Blackness” to “Kanye West”. In April 2021, Novacane had the privilege to open up for Billboard charting rap artist “Young Dolph” in Birmingham, Alabama just months before his untimely passing. She recently entered the world of production, expanding her horizons to become a triple threat artist, songwriter and producer.

 

 

Novacane is currently preparing to launch her self-acclaimed production company, "17 Productions" where her focus is to remain an independent artist all while creating a space where other artists can come and feel free to create with their purpose driven gifts without walls or restrictions. She believe's in the universal power of music and its influence on society and aspires to build a team of creative professionals to produce high-quality music that resonates with people from all walks of life. Whether it's in film, TV shows or other projects, she is committed to making a difference by inspiring and uplifting through music.
