Novi is an American singer, songwriter, and producer from Charlottesville, Virginia. She began pursuing music professionally in 2007 after discovering that her initial path as a psychology major was not the right fit. Though her professional career began after high school, music had long been part of her life. Raised in church, Novi served as the lead singer of her youth choir and recorded her first in-studio album with them titled Crusaders for Christ. She later joined her high school concert choir, which was invited to perform for the Pope at the Vatican in Italy. Although financial limitations prevented her from attending the trip, Novi continued developing her passion for performance through school and community musicals, building a foundation that would later shape her career as a recording artist and performer.

      Since then, Novi has released multiple songs and music videos independently, building her career without the support of a traditional record label. Her sound blends R&B, rhythmic pop, hip-hop, and alternative pop, creating a genre-fluid style that reflects her wide range of musical influences, including Beyoncé, Rihanna, Katy Perry, and Doja Cat. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with acclaimed industry figures such as six-time Grammy Award–winning songwriter Derrick Milano and the late Grammy-winning producer Sidney “Omen” Brown, whose credits include Beyoncé, Drake, and Lil Wayne. In 2026, Novi graduated from the Los Angeles Recording School, where she was inducted into the Honor Society and wrote, produced, and performed the organization’s theme song, “Energy.” Now a true triple-threat artist, Novi focuses on securing major sync licensing opportunities while expanding her work as a producer.
